October 13. Another nice cool morning. Slept in a bit later this morning. Woke up with the heel of my foot hurting. By the time we got done shopping, the whole foot was hurting, probably because I had to support my weight on the ball of the foot. We went out a little after 8:30 to do our weekly shopping which we didn’t do on Thursday because of the heavy rain. After Lidl, we shopped at WalMart and Aldi. Then Daddy dropped me off at the house, and I started putting food away while he went on up to Verizon to pay the phone bill. It was already 11:00 when we got home. Had an early lunch and nap. When I got up from nap, I just couldn’t get motivated to do anything. I finally lay back down and zonked out for another hour. After that I felt more refreshed. Worked on the crocheted snowman and finished up the main section, adding a yogurt lid inside the bottom to help it be flat and stand up, stuffing it, and stitching up the sweater front. I didn’t realize how big it was going to be, but it has got to be at least a foot tall. Around 4:30, we went to visit Garry for a while. Then Daddy tried to call Pastor Amos, but couldn’t get any answers from him or anyone he tried to contact. We had supper, and I started crocheting one of the arms for the snowman. A little after 6:00, we headed for C&C’s house and played a game. They had only been home a short time from the craft fair. Had sold only three things and made $8 profit. But they gathered some ideas from other crafters about how to display their wares, ideas which should help them in the future. “25Then king Darius wrote unto all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied unto you. 26I make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living God, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall be even unto the end. 27He delivereth and rescueth, and he worketh signs and wonders in heaven and in earth, who hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.” Daniel 6:25-27 Because of Daniel’s faithful testimony, King Darius recognized that God was a God to be feared, that He was a living God, a God who is stedfast, eternal, all-powerful, and can do whatever He pleases in heaven and earth And he wanted all people, nations, and languages to know the God of Daniel.
