August 20. Mrs. Ogle taught the ladies’ Sunday school class this morning. The D’Andrea family was there today as they were bringing their eldest daughter to ABC so they all sang, and Bro. D’Andrea preached. There were a number of visitors there today, and college students were back so there was a good crowd. Bro. D’Andrea preached on being strong in grace from II Timothy 2:1, developing the topic through the verses that followed. This afternoon, I had a little time after nap to start working on a new presentation. Then we headed out to Nations Baptist for their evening service. When we got there, there was no service, so we went on over to Old Rugged Cross which was just a mile or two back up the road. It was a blessing to be with those people. The theme of Bro. Allen’s preaching was Turning a Bad Day into a Good Day. “And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of the LORD.” Genesis 4:26 Enos means “to call upon the name of the Lord,” or “call themselves by the name of the Lord.” “For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent.” Zephaniah 3:9

August 18. Did two loads of wash today and hung them out to dry. Made a birthday card for my sister and put it out in the mail. Daddy and I hunted for an old reply to an important document we received in the mail. I was thankful that I had seen it not too long ago in Christy’s files, and it didn’t take long to find it. Lew spotted it quickly. I whited out the address and put our current address on it, made photo copies, and we put those out in the mail. By then it was about noon. I had planned to make Daddy a meal today, but it was too late now so he had his sandwiches, and the meal would come later. I was hungry too so whipped up and warmed up some soup for my lunch. This afternoon, I finally got back to working on the monthly updates which I had started last weekend, currently working on the ones for e-mail. Got quite a few of those done, and, Lord willilng, will finish tomorrow. I did get Daddy’s meal made this afternoon — mashed potatoes, chicken and gravy. There were a few leftover green beans for today, and tomorrow I can cook him another veggie. “12Though a sinner do evil an hundred times, and his days be prolonged, yet surely I know that it shall be well with them that fear God, which fear before him: 13But it shall not be well with the wicked, neither shall he prolong his days, which are as a shadow; because he feareth not before God.” Ecclesiastes 8:12,13 August 19. Didn’t get to sleep until after midnight last night, and was awake before 6:00 again this morning. Thankful to have gotten the rest of the e-mail updates done this morning and also deleted a bunch of old e-mails. Zonked out at nap time, and slept a couple hours so there went half the afternoon. The rest of the afternooon, I spent on the Proverbs lessons for the Owena youth.
August 16. Praise the Lord for a day at home! And for a good night’s rest. I guess I was pretty tired out, as it didn’t take me long to get to sleep, and I never woke up or even moved (as far as I know) until 4:00 a.m. There was a lot to do today. Had to cook a grain (amaranth today) and fish for my breakfast. Added new addresses to our newsletter address list and to my personal 3x5 card file. Printed out thank you notes to send to the church we were at this past Sunday evening and the two we were at the Sunday before. Did the dishes. Later I added personal notes to the thank you notes I had printed out and also wrote two thank you notes by hand. Made the shopping list and printed it out. Left for church around 6:15. Pastor Ogle covered Exodus 22 this evening, entitling his message “The Dignity of Life.” It was a very interesting message, and it was obvious that he had studied out the material well. August 17. Woke up at 5:45 this morning. I wasn’t sleepy enough to go back to sleep so decided to go ahead and get up, shower, and wash my hair. I was thankful to have gotten a bit early start. When Daddy turned his phone on shortly before 7:00, there was a text message from Kevin R. He was wondering if we wanted him to come by with some Häagen-Dazs ice cream. We said “sure” so a little after 7:00, he arrived with a huge tub of mango sherbert. He came in for a while and had a cup of coffee and a granola bar, and we enjoyed a little fellowship. Connie didn’t even hear him come in. A little while later, she heard a couple men’s voices in the kitchen, she said, and wondered who was here so early in the morning. After Kevin went off to work, Connie cleaned out a spot in her freezer for the ice cream. Now how do we divide it up to share among the neighbors? We’ll have to come up with a plan. A little after 8:30, Daddy and I headed out to do shopping. First stop was Big Lots today. Found some cookies, granola bars, millet, and a few gift items. Then we went to WalMart, Aldi, the bank, and the post office. The workers at the bank were acting goofy this morning. Arrived home a little before 11:30, and put food away. Daddy went off to Subway for lunch, and I ate the other half of the wrap I had made for myself last night. Took a rather long nap, and then got busy in the kitchen making cream of celery soup. Worked on picture fixing while the soup was cooking and cooling a bit. Then I pureed up a blender container full and savored a delicious supper. Did up the dishes right away after supper as they hadn’t been done since yesterday morning. August 14. Quite a heavy rain during the night. I wondered how C&C were faring. Found out this morning that Christy and Connie and Tim and Ruth had an adventuresome night last night. The power went out over there in the camper, and they checked all the breakers but couldn’t find a problem. Connie texted Daddy, but his phone wasn’t on. (He found the message this morning.) So she texted Ruthie who didn’t hear the phone, but Tim did. Tim went to help and found that the problem was at the house here, not the breakers over there. He thought he had it fixed, and they all went back to bed; but the power went right out again. The third time, Tim heard a “pow” in the line between the house and trailer. Oops! No way to fix that during the night. He got Ruthie up, and they moved Christy and Connie into the house here for the rest of the night. Daddy and I never heard a sound, except that I heard the rain, but don’t know exactly what time that was. Praise the Lord for His blessings today. It was a blessing not to have to get up early to get ready to go somewhere. I think I got up around 6:30. Had my shower and had quiet time. Prepared a pot of oatmeal and enjoyed a bowlful with bananas, blueberries, honey, ginger, cinnamon, and almond milk. Just relaxed and didn’t do much of anything after that until about 11:00 when Christy, Connie, and Daddy and I went out for a while — first to Shark Attack (a souvenir store) where we took pictures of ourselves in the shark’s mouth plus a few other pictures. We also went inside the store to look around. Christy and Connie each bought a Topsail Island t-shirt, and Connie bought a gift for someone. Afterward we went up the road apiece to Subway where Christy got a sandwich to eat on the road tomorrow. It was after 12:30 when we got back to the house. Tim spent most of the morning working on the wiring to the camper. He had to get new wire, but he finally got things working. After lunch and nap, we headed for Hampstead to visit Mary J. I was pleasantly surprised to see Linda there. We had a great visit with the two of them. We figured out that it had been about 50 years since we last saw them. Wow! It was great to renew acquaintance. We came back via the scenic route — along Topsail Beach. Ruthie had prepared chicken, sweet potatoes, and peas for supper. After supper, I went outside and took a few pictures. We packed up a few things so we’ll be ready to leave somewhat early in the morning for our trip home. This evening Ruthie, Daddy, and I just relaxed. Tim took Christy and Connie out to the ocean after dark to look for ghost crabs. They also saw a lot of speckled crabs and they gathered seashells. “Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.” Genesis 3:21 A picture of God’s provision for salvation. “I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.” Isaiah 61:10 August 15. Up a little after 6:00 this morning. Washed up, dressed, had quiet time, finished packing, ate breakfast, said good-bye to Ruthie, and were on our way around 8:00. (We had said good-bye to Tim last night because he would be getting up at 5:00 this morning to go fishing with a friend.) It was another long day — about eight hours on the road, counting pit stops, gas stop, and stretch leg stops — although it didn’t seem quite that long. Before we got too far along on our journey, we also made a wrong turn somehow and ended up at the gate going into the military base. 😊 Although we had a wonderful weekend, we are so thankful to be home. Daddy and I have been away seven of the last eleven days. All of us are tired. I didn’t feel like doing much in the car today although I did finish reading the book The New Guinea Frontier, by Bruce L. Blowers. What a great book for use in the missionary training program! Just full of culture! We arrived home a little after 4:00. Freddie (Christy’s fish) was still alive and well, anxious for something to eat as he hadn’t eaten for several days. No rain had leaked in as far as we could tell, although we had heard that Shelby had had some hard rainfalls while we were gone. The house was nice and cool as we had turned a/c on before leaving. Praise the Lord for a safe trip, for watching over the house and Freddie, for Ruth and Tim being our hosts for the weekend, for those who prayed, and all the other special blessings of our time away! August 13. Another long and busy day. Up a little after 6:00 for shower, quiet time, and breakfast. Then off around 8:15 for Havelock for the meetings at Freedom Baptist Church. I was hoping that Linda would meet us there, but there was no sign of her. We were surprised to see Naomi Torberson there. She was out this way with the O’Malleys to work on a new computer system for Pastor Eborn. The O’Malleys went this weekend to Wilmington for meetings so Naomi came to Kohrs’ church. We did enjoy being in the meetings at FBC, and Pastor Kohr gave a wonderful message about the three crosses from John 19:16-18 and Luke 23:39-43 — the cross of rejection, the cross of repentance, and the cross of redemption. It was a message that brought tears to my eyes as it really made one consider what it cost Jesus to pay the penalty for our sin. After the meeting, nine of us went out to lunch at Baker’s Kitchen in New Bern — we four Youngs, three Kohrs, Naomi, and William (a man who attends FBC). The restaurant is Mennonite run, and Daddy and I had eaten there before with FBC people when we were at the church in April. We had to wait a little while for a table so sat outside on the sidewalk benches. Our server was very friendly and did his work efficiently. The servings of food were more than sufficient, the food was good, and we were all able to find something that we could eat. It was a little before 3:00 when we left the restaurant. We followed the Kohrs to the turnoff of 17 and followed 17 all the way back to Sneads Ferry. We arrived back a little after 4:00 and had about a half hour nap before we had to get ready to go to the evening meeting. Our meeting this evening was at Providence Baptist Church in Holly Ridge, Pastor Bo Osborne, where Tim & Ruth attend. Daddy showed the slide presentation and then preached on “Why Do Missionaries...?” People were very friendly and made us feel welcome. We enjoyed meeting their pastor. I was so delighted to see Mary J. I don’t know how many years it has been since I’ve seen her. She said she is 87 so she is only about 14 years older than I am. Just wish there was more time to spend with her. Her daughter Laurie was with her, and I was happy to meet her too. I do not remember Laurie from years ago as she was quite a bit younger than Linda. August 12. What a day it has been! I woke up around 5:45. Got up and took my shower and washed my hair. Fixed eggs to go with Daddy’s pancakes for his breakfast, had my morning drinks and fixed and ate my breakfast, and did last minute packing and loading stuff in the car in between those tasks. Rain slowed us down a bit with loading the car. Finally we were off on our trip a little after 8:00. After many delays along the way, we finally arrived at Tim and Ruth’s around 5:00. A trip that should have taken no more than six hours took nine. We made a number of pit stops, food stops, drink stops, stretch stops, a stop for gas. I was amazed at the heavy traffic as last Saturday there was hardly any traffic. We were slowed down several times because of traffic backups. Apparently there were some special events going on this weekend at different places. After we arrived, Tim and Ruth took us over to see Bobby J and his wife Shirley and some other family members. Bobby has been diagnosed with colon cancer, and he and Shirley will be headed up to Rochester, MN, tomorrow morning for Bobby to have tests and then surgery. While we were over there, we found out that Linda lives in Havelock. So Bobby called her, and we talked together for quite a while. She is hoping to come by to see us tomorrow when we go to Freedom Baptist. When we came back to Ruth and Tim’s, we unloaded the car and Ruthie fixed us turkey burgers for supper. “And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.” Genesis 3;15 “10Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. 11He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.” Isaiah 53:10,11 “And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.” Romans 16:20
August 9. Connie’s birthday—43 today. This morning we did do laundry. And even hung the clothes outside. It was a very cool morning, and overcast but not raining. A little before 9:00, Daddy and I headed to Dr. Cook’s for adjustments. Then went to Dollar Tree to get a card for Connie and one for Daddy and some general birthday cards because my supply has dwindled down. After we got home, I looked through the stack of cards and discovered I hadn’t gotten one for Connie after all. Hmmm! Guess I’ll have to make one. So that’s what I did — started right away making a card for Connie and finished it after nap. Daddy went off to Gaffney around 11:30 to pick up C&C’s milk, and I went to the kitchen then and made goulash for Daddy’s dinner and for supper tomorrow night. We didn’t get to nap until a little before 2:00, and it was after 3:00 when I got up so the afternoon was short. After finishing the card, I swept the office floor, washed the dishes, and freshened up for church. Still had some time left so transferred pictures to the computer from my camera and worked on fixing those until time to leave for church. It was a blessing to pray with Mrs. O’Malley this evening. Pastor Ogle finished up the teaching on the Ten Commandments, covering the last four. “11And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat? 12And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat. 13And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.” Genesis 3:11-13 Sin brought pride. Both Adam and Eve were too proud to admit that they had sinned. They wanted someone else to take the blame. Adam blamed the woman, and he also blamed God. Eve blamed the serpent. August 10. Back was hurting last night and realized during the night that it is probably my kidneys so increased the cranberry and liquid intake today. It was shopping day. Had a little time to start working on the progress report before we went shopping. I didn’t think we had much shopping to do since we had been gone for a few days, but there was more than I thought. It was about 11:00 when we got back from shopping. After getting food put away, I sent Connie journal notes and pictures. Then I had lunch, worked more on the progress report, and had nap. After nap, I made a fruit salad and finished up the progress report. I had forgotten to put the cream in the fridge to get cold so put it in the freezer for a couple hours so I could whip it to put on our fruit. After supper, I whipped up the cream and spread it on top of the fruit. The bowl of fruit with whipped cream on top I called a “fruit cake” and was for celebrating Connie’s and Daddy’s birthdays. After I did dishes this evening, we all sat down together and enjoyed “fruit cake.” August 11. Daddy’s birthday—71 today. Did laundry this morning and hung it out, but the rains came before noon and before the wash was dry. Daddy brought things in while I was busy in the kitchen, and most things went in the dryer. A few things were hung up around the house to dry. After doing laundry and having breakfast and quiet time, I was busy in the kitchen most of the morning. Made half dozen 16.9 oz. bottles of lemon/ginger soda water and two dozen bottles of Celtic sea salt water. Then I made a pot of sweet potato soup. After putting the soup on to cook and cleaning up the mess, I was ready to sit down a while and relax. After the soup was done and had cooled, I whipped up some for my lunch. Then whipped up the rest and put in a coffee mug and in jars. In the morning, I’ll warm up the soup in the coffee mug to have for lunch tomorrow, and will take a jug of soup for lunches at Ruthie’s. After nap, I stitched the pocket that was coming loose on my black dress and finished packing. I think I’m all ready for tomorrow now. Thankful to the Lord for His help in getting the monthly update written this evening and some copies printed out to be mailed.
August 7. Up at 6:00 again. Got dressed and packed up. Fixed breakfast. Then Pastor & Candi came out, and we sat down together in the kitchen while we ate. A little after 7:30, we loaded up the car, said good-bye, and headed west toward home. Made a couple pit stops along the way. At a rest stop west of Burlington, there was a nice walking area so we took advantage of that. It was good to move our legs for a while. There was even a nice breeze, and the temperature wasn’t too high. We were thankful that traveling was more comfortable today because of rain and overcast skies. Before we got on the road again, we decided to call Fran & Margaret to see if they would like to meet us somewhere for lunch, but they were already eating. It was already after 12:00. So decided to go have lunch and then stop to see them a while afterward. We figured we would stop at Golden Corral in Greensboro for lunch. Fran said it was off Battleground somewhere. But what a time we had finding Battleground! Finally stopped at a gas station, and a helpful worker told Daddy how to get to Battleground. We had to travel quite a ways through town, but finally arrived at Golden Corral around 1:20. I was very thankful for a nice plateful of veggies and some meat, and felt very satisfied after I had eaten. From there it was only a couple minutes to Fran’s house. Spent a little over an hour with Fran and Margaret, but seems like we hardly had any time at all. Time goes too fast. Headed home via 40 and Hickory — no Charlotte on a weekday afternoon — and arrived around 6:00, thankful to the Lord for a safe trip. The evening was spent unpacking, chatting with C&C, doing dishes, and praying together before bed. “And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?” Genesis 3:9 Did God not know where Adam was? Can anyone hide from God? “There is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.” Job 34:22 “Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD.” Jeremiah 23:24 “Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.” Hebrews 4:13 August 8. A rainy day. We are thankful for the rain. Decided to wait until tomorrow to do wash so our things wouldn’t be hanging around the house, and Christy would have places to hang her things this afternoon. Spent a good part of the day getting journal notes caught up from the weekend. Also wrote a couple e-mails and spent time studying God’s Word. Now that journal notes are caught up, I need to get last week’s notes ready to send to Connie, write the July progress report, write the monthly update, and write thank you notes to those people we were with over the weekend. “And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.” Genesis 3:10 Sin brought fear. Man who once walked and talked with God was now separated from His presence and was afraid to talk with Him.
August 6. I was thankful for a hot shower before bed last night and for a good night’s rest. Woke up at 6:00 this a.m. It was already light out. Got up and dressed and had quiet time. Breakfast with the Tylers around 8:00. Off to church around 9:30. Church started at 9:45 with a song and pledges to the flags and the Bible. Then we went to the fellowship room where the people had coffee to drink and cakes to eat while the Sunday school lesson was being taught. Daddy was the Sunday school teacher this morning. We had hoped to show our old presentation, but didn’t have anyone to work the equipment. So Daddy gave an overview of our years of work in PNG. In the main service, Lewis preached on the Missions Miracle from John 6. I guess there were about 30 in attendance. Lovely people. We enjoyed meeting each one and talking with several of them personally. After the morning service and time to talk with people, we put away the display items, loaded up the van, and, following Pastor Tyler’s directions, headed for another seafood restaurant. Met for dinner there with the Tylers and their grandson Charlie and two other couples from church. I decided on decaf coffee to drink. When the waitress brought the coffee, I asked for some cream. She said she would bring some. She took our orders, and I ordered clam chowder. Waited and waited and waited, but no cream. And no dinner either. (Those who ordered buffet were already eating and had finished long before the meals were served to those who ordered from the menu.) I finally got up and went out to walk around a bit to get the circulation going in my legs. I guess the waitress came by while I was gone, and they reminded her that I wanted cream. Shortly after I came back in, she brought the cream, but by then my coffee was cold. Asked if she could warm it up, but she said she would just bring me another cup. Also said that our orders were just about ready. She brought another cup of coffee, but it was filled to the brim. Where was I going to put the cream? The coffee was much too hot to sip down so thought, as soon as my chowder comes, I’ll use the spoon to dip out some coffee and make room for cream. We continued to wait and wait. At last our orders came. My coffee was still quite hot. I dipped some out into the cup of cold coffee, added the cream, and also added some ice cubes from Lew’s glass of iced tea so it was cool enough to drink. In spite of the problems with lunch, we enjoyed the fellowship. Pastor Tyler said they had never had to wait like that before. After dinner, we headed back to Tyler’s house where I enjoyed a nice, long nap. Daddy woke me up around 4:00; and around 4:15, we left for Carteret Baptist Church pastored by Rick Aldridge. They meet in a store front in Newport. Arrived a little after 5:00 and set up our display and also got the presentation (the old one) ready to show. Talked for a while with Pastor Aldrige while we waited for people to come. There were about eight to ten people in the evening meeting. After the presentation, Daddy told a bit more about our ministry. Then he had me sing John 3:16 before he did the preaching. His message was about “Why Do Missionaries…?” and he gave scriptural reasons for the areas covered in the message, such as, learn the language and culture, teach the people to read and write, teach chronologically, translate the Scriptures. Most of the people stayed around after the meeting to fellowship with each other. I enjoyed chatting with 89-year-old Bro. Adams, an intelligent gentleman with a very alert mind. Also chatted a while with Nancy and Tammy (Mrs. Aldridge). Such sweet people! We had really enjoyed our day. On our way back to the Tyler’s house, we stopped at a Food Lion to pick up some things to snack on. It was 9:00 when we arrived back at the Tyler’s. Enjoyed a bowl of ice cream and another little time of fellowship before heading to bed. August 4. It’s been quite a day. In the morning, take shower and wash hair. Put laundry in washing machine and start machine. Have morning drinks, quiet time, and dish of tofu pudding with fruit. Cook amaranth. Hang out clothes. Eat a bowl of amaranth, tuna, and walnuts. Go to Dr. Cook for back adjustment. Go to WalMart to look for a few items. Daddy drops me off at home so I can start getting things ready for our trip tomorrow. Goes and gets a few dollars’ worth of gas at Fastop to take us through to Archdale (before Greensboro) tomorrow where he can get a discount at Sheetz, then goes to Big Lots, and last of all to Ingles. While he’s gone, I start getting things ready for our trip. Open twenty-four 16.9-oz. bottles of purified water and add an eighth teaspoon of Celtic Sea Salt to each one. Daddy arrives home with some other things I need. Cook hamburger for Daddy’s dinner. Puree the rest of my soup. Put some in freezer, some in fridge for when we get back from the east coast, a travel mug full in fridge to take on trip tomorrow, and the rest in a large mug (twice) for today’s dinner. Afternoon: Add a half teaspoon of ginger, a tablespoon of lemon juice, and a half tablespoon of honey to each of another six of the above mentioned water bottles. Put those six bottles in fridge. Pack clothes, personal items, food, vitamins, and other things to take tomorrow. Relax a while and have a snack. Reorganize the box of display items. Make a smoothie to take too. Put it in fridge. Fix meat and cheese wrap. Eat half for supper and put half in fridge to take on trip. August 5. Up at 6:00. Showered and dressed. Had a.m. drinks and supplements. Fixed eggs to go with Daddy’s breakfast pancakes. Heated up amaranth with tuna and almonds for my breakfast and started eating. After a couple bites, I couldn’t eat anymore, however. Terrible pain in esophagus. One of my supplements must have lodged there, probably the lysine. Tried drinking water, but it didn’t budge. Tried almond milk. Same result. As the pain increased, the body wanted to vomit up whatever was there, but that wouldn’t move it either. Finally decided to try warm almond milk. Success! Pill dislodged! Praise the Lord! Finished packing car. (Daddy had been working on it.) Prayed with C&C and left home around 7:50. Had quiet time in car. Rode in front for the first couple hours and in the back the rest of the way because my foot needed to be elevated most of the time. Had taken sandwiches with us for lunch so didn’t need to stop anywhere for lunch. It was a hot, humid day. Ran into a big rain storm around New Bern. Arrived in James City, east of New Bern, around 2:00, sweaty, dirty, and tired. Daddy pulled into a Burger King parking lot and called the Kohrs. Then we waited inside Burger King for them to come. It was much too hot and steamy to wait in the car or outside. Daddy talked with a young worker there while we were waiting. He was very friendly and obviously a hard worker. The Lord sent another rainstorm before the Kohrs came. They arrived there around 2:30. The rain had mostly slowed down, and we headed out to their vehicle. They took us to dinner at the Stingray in New Bern to eat and fellowship together. I chose a crab soup, and it was delicious, and filling too. We enjoyed getting together with the Kohrs once again. Arrived back at Burger King around 5:00. After we got back into our van, Daddy called Owena. Couldn’t get hold of Amos but talked with Tomas. Tomas said there has been fighting in Okapa over the elections, and some people have gotten killed. They are concerned about some Aziana people who were expected to come through Owena on their way to Aziana, but hadn’t showed up. After that, Daddy called Pastor Charles Tyler of Island Road Baptist Church in Beaufort to let him know that we were on our way to meet him at the church. It was about 6:00 when we arrived there. We got the display set up and talked a bit. Then followed Pastor Tyler to his home Down East. We enjoyed fellowship with him and his wife Candi for the rest of the evening. |
