September 15. It was a long night. I did not sleep well at all. Sinuses got all stuffed up, and I could not get comfortable. Breathing became labored, and I could not relax for quite a while. Then I got hungry and was getting a headache. Was thankful to finally doze off a few times between 4:30 and 6:00. Had to get up at 6:00 though because there were things to do this morning before going off to KM — shower and wash hair, have quiet time and breakfast, wash and hang out clothes. Made a stop afterward at Neighborhood WalMart and then Daddy headed on down to SC for gas. It was about 12:45 when we finally got back home. Had lunch and a much-needed nap. I guess I slept over two hours. Had a hard time getting awake enough after that to make profitable use of my time. September 16. PNG Independence Day. Praise the Lord for a better night’s sleep last night. When I first went to bed, my breathing acted just like the night before, so came out to the dining room right away and had some potassium and vitamin E and a little something to eat. Was able to settle down after that. Doesn’t seem like I accomplished a whole lot today. Had a terrific headache this morning. Tried to work on an Missionary Training Course lesson. Found some interesting information on the web about unreached people groups and copied that out. Later in the morning, I went out to Fins and Critters with C&C. They wanted to return an item and get a couple other things for Freddie (Christy's fish) instead. Enjoyed looking at all the fish, birds, snakes (pythons and boas), lizards, guinea pigs, the one rabbit, and the ferret. I think the ferret would have liked to have come home with me, but he cost $160, and he would have been a lot of work to take care of. It was fun to watch him play, though. When we got back home, Daddy and Christy went out to Subway to get their lunch. I warmed up a cup of my soup. My headache was getting unbearable, and then I thought, ParaSmart. Yes, that’s what I need. This is the parasite-type headache. And my stomach hasn’t felt good either so that’s another symptom. Took some ParaSmart before I lay down, and will take some more before bed. Praise the Lord, the headache has gone down considerably this afternoon. After a very welcome nap, I made a fruit salad and enjoyed a bowlful of that with some pecan pieces and protein powder. “And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as he had spoken.” Genesis 21:1 We can always trust the LORD to keeps His promises. He will never fail. “And also the Strength of Israel will not lie nor repent: for he is not a man, that he should repent.” I Samuel 15:29 “9Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, 10Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure: 11Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it.” Isaiah 46:9-11 “Then the heathen that are left round about you shall know that I the LORD build the ruined places, and plant that that was desolate: I the LORD have spoken it, and I will do it.” Ezekiel 36:36
