March 12. Praise the Lord for giving Daddy a good sleep last night. That should be one of the best things to help him fight off his cold. Another morning with blue skies and no fog. Praise the Lord! And another day so busy that there was hardly time to turn around. Praise God for His strength which we need so much, and His promise to renew our strength if we wait upon Him. Sunny came around 8:00 this morning. I was just getting my breakfast. The first job we had her do was grind rice so I can make rice cereal now and then. After that, she swept the floors and then had a cup of coffee and a couple bananas and a chocolate cookie for snack. I asked Daddy to proofread the recent Revelation study section I had completed. After my breakfast, making the bed, folding the clothes I had washed on Wednesday, and finishing quiet time, I started writing an e-mail to C&C so I could send the Revelation notes. Pastor Nuanda had come and was talking with Daddy for a while. By the time the e-mail was finished and sent, it was time for dinner, and then nap. I was so thankful for a good long nap today. I have felt so worn out. This afternoon, I washed my hair. Then I proofread the next two elder/deacon lessons and printed out the teacher’s copy. This evening, I got all the blanks made for the student copies and will print those out tomorrow. “And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.” (Colossians 2:19) The whole body, the church, receives its nourishment from the Head, Christ. Just as Joseph’s family would have come to poverty if they did not have someone to give them nourishment, so we would come to spiritual poverty if we did not receive nourishment from the Lord Jesus Christ. March 13. The Lord is giving us another lovely day today. And things have been a little quieter here this morning. We did enjoy a little stretch in the warm sunshine. Then Trophimus brought us a nice popo for which he got some soap, Maggi, and a couple chocolate wafers. After that, I wrote a very short e-mail to C&C with a couple items that I forgot yesterday. And then I did some Bible study and worked on the Ready lessons. This afternoon, I worked on the Ready lessons again for a while. Later on, I made tortillas, had supper, did dishes, had bath, and spent a little more time on the Ready lessons until my brain got too tired. Printed new elder-deacon lessons for the students and then did a little crocheting until it was time for our bedtime devotions together. March 14. The Lord gave us a little rain last night and lots of fog this morning. But it wasn’t too cold; and when the fog lifted, the sun brought more warmth and brightness to the world around us. Pancakes needed to be made for breakfast. I was glad I had made Daddy’s syrup yesterday so that was one less thing to do today. The popo wasn’t quite ready to cut yesterday, but was ready this morning, so cut a couple pieces out of it to make popo syrup for myself. Read the first chapter of Mark while I was waiting for my syrup to cook. After breakfast and kitchen cleanup, I enjoyed time to relax while praying and crocheting. Have just one more hexagon to crochet and then eight half hexagons. The tedious part is going to be hiding all the loose ends. Took a break from sitting and did some walking around the house and made the bed. Then I punched holes in the elder-deacon lessons I had printed yesterday evening, dusted off the students’ desks and notebooks and the teacher’s desk in the classroom since they hadn't been used for a couple weeks, collated the lessons, and added them to the students’ notebooks. After that, I transferred files to my computer, files that Daddy had put on a flash drive out of his computer; looked over the 2020 fourth quarter income report and made a few little revisions; and put it on another flash drive to be transferred to the ACER for sending later. Did a little Bible study and wrote in journal. The afternoon and evening were spent working mostly on the Ready lessons. “12) Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate. 13) Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach…. 15) By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.” (Hebrews 13:12-15)
