July 18. Since veggies were all gone, I needed to cook first thing this morning. Cut up a couple of the organic yellow squash I had bought on Saturday, along with some leftover celery Connie had in the fridge (what was left of it after I chopped off all the bad parts), and a couple pieces of fresh garlic. Sautéed those in some organic olive oil, added some herbs, and then turned the burner down and put the lid on so everything could finish cooking. Added seaweed, chives, and parsley at the end and enjoyed a bowlful topped with walnuts for breakfast. Quiet time came along while food was cooking and while I was eating. Then I sat outside in the fresh air to finish prayer time, after which I had my walking exercise before coming back inside. Turned on the computer and deleted a bunch of e-mails but didn’t write any today. Looked through our shopping list for here and that helped me think of a few more things to add to the PNG list. Took a stretch and fixed a bowl of yogurt and fruit. Then Daddy and I checked over Romans 9 and 10. Praise the Lord for His help with those two chapters. Took another stretch break and went outside for several more laps around the driveway and to pick up the mail. Then I made corrections for Romans 9 and 10 and set them up in the print file. Also added the English for chapter 11. This afternoon, I organized the PNG supply list in the Shopping List file, and also wrote out our shopping list for tomorrow. The rest of the afternoon, I worked on MTC course 2. “I have made the earth, the man and the beast that are upon the ground, by my great power and by my outstretched arm, and have given it unto whom it seemed meet unto me.” Jeremiah 27:5 July 19. We left a little before 9:30 this morning to do shopping. Had three stops to make today, but it didn’t take long to do the shopping because there weren’t that many items on the list. We had to make an extra stop back at Lidl’s to get bananas because Aldi bananas had gone way up in price, and they didn’t even look that good. We made a quick stop at Oak Tree Lodge too, to see if there were any openings yet. The owner said he remembered us, and there may be an opening by the end of the month. After we got home and got the food put away, I fixed a bowlful of fruit and yogurt. It was nearly lunch time, but I was hungry. Then I worked on the outreach lessons for MTC until well past noon. Daddy went off to Subway for lunch, and I didn’t have my lunch until after he got back. After nap, I continued with the MTC lessons. “And, behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth: and ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that not one thing hath failed of all the good things which the LORD your God spake concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, and not one thing hath failed thereof.” Joshua 23:14 I hadn’t realized that God repeated these same thoughts here in chapter 23. He wanted us to be sure to understand that He always keeps ALL His promises to those who obey Him.
