November 17. Double seven today. How quickly the years have flown! Praise the Lord for His faithfulness through the years. How great is His faithfulness, and His compassions they fail not, and because of His mercies we are not consumed! Judy came around 8:00 for computer lesson. Her time was spent just practicing today as it had been a month and a half or so since we had a lesson. Tomorrow we’ll go to a new lesson. While she was practicing, I read the next chapter in Numbers, made up a booklet for questions for the Kamap Bikpela (Christian growth) course, and started looking through the teaching booklet and getting questions written in the question booklet. Worked on the booklet off and on throughout the day. Mid-morning, I gathered up all the trash, and we went outside for a while to burn the trash and get some sunshine and exercise. It was very hot out, however, so we did not stay out long. This afternoon, I cut up a really nice popo that Tonka had brought us a couple days ago. I don’t remember ever cutting up such a “perfect” popo (papaya) and not having to throw away even one tiny bad spot. At least if we did have such a one, it was a long time ago. I kept thanking the Lord for that fine popo. One piece didn’t fit in the container so I put it in a bowl to eat after I washed my hair. Cut up some banana with it, and it made a yummy snack. A little bit later, I made tortillas. I was still cooking them while we were eating supper so had to constantly get up and down to turn them, remove them from the pan, and put another in its place. And after supper, there were dishes to do; and I’m thankful there were not too many. I was ready to relax after that. November 18. Mike came early this morning to finish cutting the grass out beyond the fence. Judy came for another computer lesson. Today I finished up the question booklet for “Kamap Bikpela.” Now it needs to be proofread and a student copy made with blanks. Later, I started preparing more computer lessons for Judy. This afternoon, the Lord sent us a thunderstorm and heavy rain, the most rain we’ve had in some time. Praise the Lord for the rain.
