January 17. A busy day for Daddy. Early this morning, John came and helped him carry all the heavy boxes of cargo down to the truck so he could take them over to the hangar. Then he took things over and got them weighed up before doing a lot of other errands around town getting last-minute items. I helped do a little more packing up before he left. Then I sat down to look at the e-mails, and an e-mail came in from Connie which needed to be answered right away so I set to business doing that. In the meantime, Daddy came in for a little bit, and then went back out again. It was 11:30 before I finally finished the e-mail. And it was around 12:15 when Daddy got back. Dinner was all cooked from yesterday so we each warmed up our plateful in the microwave. Then we had nap, after which Daddy went downstairs to take care of our bill here and get a couple other things, before we both went out to take care of more business. This evening, I spent more time on studies in Revelation. January 18. Daddy went out early again this morning to do last-minute shopping, mostly hardware items. While he was gone, I read and wrote e-mails. The second half of the morning we both went out — first to the second-hand stores where Daddy got several shirts, and I got a few things. Then uptown to Papindo for lunch and a few more items. Home for our dessert (ice cream) and then nap, after which we packed up today’s purchases, along with clothes we won’t be wearing again before we get back home, and a few other little items that were purchased before and were waiting to be packed. By then it was almost supper time. Spent a good part of the evening doing more research on art projects and finding some scenery photos for my desktop. January 19. “6For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 7But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.” (2 Corinthians 4:6-7)
