March 17. A very cold morning again, but the day warmed up nicely and was very pleasant this afternoon. Waited until mid-morning to wash clothes so it would be at least in the mid-forties by the time we hung them out. After breakfast and quiet time, I cleaned the living room -- straightened up the coffee table, picked up some things off the floor, put some things away in our bedrooms, rearranged a couple small pieces of furniture, swept the rug, and dust mopped the floor. I appreciated Daddy’s work in sweeping and spot-treating the kitchen floor and taking out the trash. While clothes were washing, I folded Tuesday’s laundry and made the bed. Proofread a document for Connie. Most of the rest of the day, I worked on the presentation. Am thankful to have gotten that better organized and all the pictures in. Now need to work on animations and transition and also record the script. Ruthie called this evening, and I enjoyed chatting with her for a while. “But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.” I Timothy 6:11 Here are the things that the man of God should pursue. March 18. The Lord gave us a lovely day, and it was so refreshing to be able to turn off heat and open windows. It was a busy day too. Don’t know if I even remember everything I did today. Got up a little bit later than planned. Showered and washed hair. Had morning drinks and quiet time. Fixed amaranth for breakfast, and enjoyed that with tuna and almonds. Made the bed. Made jpg copies of newsletter pages and sent those to Christy. Deleted a bunch of e-mails and wrote a couple. Made molasses spice cookies with dates. Revised the house plans that Sara is working on for us and sent her the revised copy. Got a card and gift ready. Folded and put away clothes that were washed yesterday. Cleaned some things off the dining room table and organized the rest of the stuff (with Daddy’s help as he uses the table for his study desk). “1I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; 2Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.” II Timothy 4:1,2
