March 19. Was very thankful for a better night’s sleep last night. It was almost 7:00 before I got up this morning. It was pancake day so I made pancakes for Daddy and Christy and then added nuts to the dough to make pancakes for myself. After breakfast, Christy went to the Laundromat to do hers and Connie’s laundry while Connie did some work in her room. I took a shower and washed my hair in their bathroom since we have to wait for the electrician to come before we use our shower and tub again. When Christy got back, she hung out clothes; and then she, Connie, and Daddy went off to Towery Road to get some more things from their mobile home. While they were gone I had my quiet time, did a little crocheting, made the bed, folded yesterday’s laundry, cleaned off and reorganized the top of my dresser, and started cooking dinner - a butternut squash in the oven and rice on top of the stove. There was still a little leftover corn and chicken. When the girls got home, I put away food in the fridge and freezer that they had brought here from their other fridge. Daddy had gone off to the post office to get some more stamps and mail some letters. After lunch, we enjoyed an hour nap. This afternoon, I got a letter written to Matthew for Daddy. After supper, I washed up tons of dishes before starting a letter to David and Amos. Didn’t do much on-my-feet work today because I was hurting so much even after taking Ibuprofen. “3And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” Revelation 21:3,4
