March 7. Another busy day. Praise the Lord for sunshine! Mike and family and Wenera came early as they promised to pick up their cargo and get ready to head to Minj. Daddy took them to the bus stop to catch a Hagen bus. Daddy received a call early this evening from Mike saying they had arrived safely in Minj. Thank you, Lord, for taking care of them. Not long after Daddy got back to the house, it was time to head to Lapilo for my appointment with Dr. Kevin. Just as we were about to go down to the truck, Daddy happened to glance out the window and see a big container truck starting to back up into the CRMF parking area. That truck would block the entrance/exit, and we would not be able to get out. Daddy dashed down the stairs and asked the workers to have the driver wait just a couple minutes while he pulled the truck out the gate and around to the front of the business area. Whew! Praise the Lord that he saw the truck in time. Then he came back up and finished getting ready to go, and we headed out for Lapilo. Praise the Lord for a good visit with Dr. Kevin, and that he is pleased that things are remaining stable. This is my last visit for several months as Dr. Kevin will be going on leave until the end of August. The clinic gave me enough metoprolol until he gets back, and I had to order more apixaban. We were there a long time, not because our visit was long, but we had to wait quite a while as Dr. Kevin was dealing with an emergency patient. When we left the clinic, we went to the NTM store and bought a few items, including a small yogurt maker and yogurt starter. Then on the way back to CRMF, we stopped at Food Link and bought a few items there. It was after 12:30 when we finally got back to the flat. We had lunch and then a nap. Daddy was gone out shopping by the time I got up from nap. This afternoon, I wrote an e-mail to C&C and prepared pumpkin for supper as well as spaghetti and meat sauce. This evening, the Lord sent some thunder and lightning and just a little bit of rain. There was one loud lightning snap that was a bit scary as it hit somewhere close by with a deafening clap of thunder immediately following. March 8. Daddy went out and did shopping by himself today. He did meet up with Ubet and Ephraim who helped him with bulk buying. I stayed here at the flat, got an e-mail ready to go out with the progress report for Pastor Ogle, wrote the March update, and got two e-mails sent out to C&C with updates for mailing and updates for e-mailing.
