June 26. Cold this morning, but the sun was shining, the sky was blue, and there were just a few white puffy clouds. However, the morning stayed cool again, and the winds were strong and chilly. It was past noon again before I ever took my sweatshirt off today. Made a few pancakes for my breakfast this morning. After breakfast and quiet time, I hand washed a couple small loads, enjoying more time for prayer while I was doing so. It was a joy to get out in the fresh air and sunshine to hang the clothes out. Afterward I worked on studies in Revelation and completed the lesson on chapter 4. Brought some of the clothes in and had dinner. Then I brought in the rest of the clothes, hanging just a handful of almost-dry items in the schoolroom. After nap, I painted for a couple hours, trying to perfect the painting a bit. Maybe I’ll be able to finish it tomorrow. Then I started adding questions to the Revelation lesson I had just finished. Always look forward to the evening chat with Daddy, but looking forward even more to his return home. Then I finished up the questions to go with the Revelation lesson. June 27. As I was brushing my teeth last night, I looked out the window and saw a very bright, large, yellow-orange crescent moon in the western sky. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a crescent moon that big. There were stars above too, and the sky was still bright with stars at 3:45 a.m. I could feel that the air had turned cold, and it was 55º again this morning with mostly clear blue skies, not a bit of fog to be seen, but the mountain tops could be clearly seen miles away. Cut a piece of popo and cooked it to go on my two pancakes for breakfast. After quiet time, I took the two lap blankets out and hung them in the sunshine. I hung around out there myself and soaked up some of that nice sun. It was so cold in the house. When I went back inside, I put a clean sheet on the bed and made the bed up. Then I started doing some walking, but soon there was a knock on the door. Sunny and Lilian had come to visit for a while. I had them come in and eat bananas and we talked some more. After they left I finished my walking. Then worked on MTP lessons at the computer. Enjoying the study of the Lamb that was slain and was worthy to open the seven seals of the book of judgments. This afternoon, I washed my hair and then finished the painting I’d been working on. Now it will need to be trimmed and framed. It was a fun project. When I finished cleaning everything up, it was nearly 5:00 so I went ahead and had a bowl of fruit for the first course of my supper. Then fixed an avocado for my sandwich. I was glad I started washing dishes early because there were several knocks on the door before I got done. Only had a short time left after that before my favorite person called to chat for a while. Afterward, I had my sponge bath and then a snack. Also transferred pictures to the computer and charged the camera battery this evening.
