October 8. Another overcast day. Last night, I was thankful for a lukewarm shower. No shower tonight. But we do have water we can heat for a sponge bath. Praise the Lord for water. About mid-morning, we went out shopping, looking for a few more things that we need here and also gathering things to take back to Owena. Went to Food Link first and found butter* and corn flakes. Then to market Papindo where we found quite a few items we needed. Last of all, we went to King Wee and purchased a number of items there. Praise the Lord for His provisions. This afternoon, I worked a little bit on painting; and this evening, we listened to a service from VBC and moved a few things over to house 2 where we’ll be staying for the rest of our time in town. CRMF is planning to start remodeling house 1. Also got the monthly update written this evening and am thankful for the Lord’s help with that. *Finding butter was something they were thankful for. They could not find butter at any of the other stores. October 9. It has been quite a busy day — made currant scones for breakfast, had quiet time, did laundry, talked with Martha via skype, spent most of the rest of the day moving, wrote an e-mail to C&C. Daddy went out to get some veggie for our next meal. I was good and ready for a nap when that time came around. This afternoon, we finished moving and washed up all the dishes that we had used or emptied out in house 1. It is a blessing to be able to relax this evening and not even have to wash dishes. We listened to a service from VBC and I also did a little painting “Observe and hear all these words which I command thee, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee for ever, when thou doest that which is good and right in the sight of the LORD thy God.” (Deuteronomy 12:28)
