March 5. Praise the Lord for answered prayer above and beyond what we asked. He did indeed give us a dry day, and it was also sunny, fog-free, and calm winds. The plane came around 9:30, but didn’t land right away as they were training a pilot. Then they were on the ground quite a while, loading up with coffee. While we were waiting for the plane, I had breakfast and quiet time, did a little crocheting, changed the bedsheet and made up the bed, and enjoyed a little time out in the sunshine. After the plane left, I did some walking and wrote a couple e-mails. Then I filled the washing machine so I can wash clothes tomorrow morning. This afternoon, I bleached and cleaned the tub and toilet, spent some time on the next English Revelation study, and sent the two e-mails. However, one address is not correct, and I do not have a current address. Spent more time on the Revelation study this evening. And then enjoyed a time to chat with my best earthly friend.. O Lord, may we keep our hearts clean, not just from sins of commission, but from sins of omission. The apostle Paul was able to say, “Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.” (Acts 20:26) How many opportunities have I missed so that blood will be required at my hands? “When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.” (Ezekiel 33:8) March 6. I heard the rain during the night and prayed that the Lord would bring some sunshine in the morning for hanging out laundry. I got up this morning and saw the very foul weather and prayed that the Lord would bring some sunshine for hanging out the laundry. When some of the drizzly, rainy-looking fog had passed away, I saw a huge front all across the western sky and asked the Lord to bring some sunshine for hanging out the laundry. By 8:30, when the washing was done and the clothes were ready to be hung out, the Lord had taken away the front and the fog. There were large patches of blue sky, and it was a beautiful morning for hanging out laundry. Thank you, Lord, for answering the simple prayer of your child. After hanging out clothes, I sat down and rested while praying and crocheting. Then I made the bed, filled out a missionary survey for FBC, sent it to Daddy in an e-mail to look over and make any needed changes, washed out the insoles to my slippers, and washed out a dress that had grease spots on it. This afternoon, I did a little Bible study, wrote a bit in my journal, and finished the Revelation study that I started yesterday. This evening, I did some crocheting, enjoyed a long chat with Daddy, and proofread the Revelation study I had finished. March 7. A cloudy day all day, but no rain. Kept busy today with many little things. The house is so quiet. Was able to get e-mails in this morning — just one, from Daddy, letting me know to go ahead and send the completed missionary survey to FBC. This afternoon, I attached that survey to an e-mail and the modem had no sooner connected when the e-mail was gone. GBC put up a volley ball net beside the church building, and the young people played ball this afternoon. Several people brought phones to be charged. Praise the Lord for helping me make corrections in several chapters of Matyu and get those chapters set up in the print file. A pleasant chat with someone extra special helped pass a good part of a quiet evening. I looked for sermons on flash drives, but couldn’t find any except for the few we’d been listening too. I was sure we had another flash drive with sermons on it. I did find some other animal pictures that I wanted to add to my picture file, but when I opened my picture file, all the folders from a-e were gone!?! How could they have disappeared? I figured I’d better save any of the new picture files so they wouldn’t disappear. When I dragged February2021 file to the flash drive, it had hundreds of pictures in it. No way. There were probably only ten, more or less. Is that where the missing folders are? Sure enough, all the missing folders were in the February 2021 folder. How they ever got in there is a great mystery, but I was thankful to find them and get them back out of there.
