February 16. Quite a change in weather today. When I got up, the sun was shining; and the sky was blue with white puffy clouds. There was no fog, but we did get quite a bit of wind throughout the day. It was a welcome change from the rain. Thank you, Lord, for a nice balance. This evening is very warm; but the skies are clear so it could turn cold unless it clouds over. I had to make pancakes just for myself today. Only made a few as they will not keep long unrefrigerated. After breakfast, I finished the flowers on the cupboard so all that painting is done, and the cupboard is ready to hang. Lotu didn’t start until about 10:25 and then with only a handful of people. Amos preached in the first meeting, continuing his message that he started last week on the prophecies of Christ’s birth. Last week, he taught about the Old Testament prophecies; and this week, he showed their fulfillments in the New Testament. Matthew’s preaching in the afternoon was on the story of Ananias and Sapphira. After lotu, I worked on a ladies’ meeting lesson and finished that. Then I shut down the computer and put it on to charge even though I hadn’t received a low battery signal yet. Had an early supper and then an early bath so I would be ready when Daddy called. And that was the best part of the evening — chatting with my best friend again. “12) Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven with the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance? 13) Who hath directed the Spirit of the LORD, or being his counsellor hath taught him? 14) With whom took he counsel, and who instructed him, and taught him in the path of judgment, and taught him knowledge, and showed to him the way of understanding?” Isaiah 40:12-14 The greatness and power and wisdom of God. Who can comprehend it?
