February 13. Not as warm as yesterday, but still a very nice day. Sunny and warmer than predicted. Up to 67º here this afternoon. This morning, Daddy and I went through his January notes together and worked on January progress report. Later, I got a copy of that sent off to Pastor Ogle. Also got journal notes in order and sent off to Connie this morning and resized all the pictures I had transferred and fixed yesterday evening. This afternoon, Don C. came by and brought some translation notes. Daddy and I went for a walk (finally! Hooray!), just a short one, around one block, since it was our first walk since being sick, but it was soooooo good to get out in the sunshine and fresh air. Before supper, I revised John 20 so now have just one chapter left to revise in John. After supper, I worked more on Lait I Kamap, the history of the gospel in PNG. “In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” Colossians 2:3 None of the treasures, none of the wealth of wisdom and knowledge can be found in books or on the internet or in the schools or in seeking out and dwelling on man’s thoughts and ideas. ALL of the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are found in Christ. Only through a right relationship with Christ can we come to a full understanding of the mysteries of His word. February 14. The morning was spent doing laundry, writing e-mails, talking over some issues together, and making pizza for lunch. It was the first time I had made/eaten pizza in quite a while, and it tasted good. In the afternoon (after nap, of course), we got the clothes in and then went for a walk. The wind came up when we started on our walk so I tried to cover my neck good to keep more cold from going into my chest. After our walk, I worked on some Sunday school lessons. Then I made a pot of potato soup. “6As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: 7Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.” Colossians 2:6,7
