June 22. Today we didn’t go over to the girls’ house. Later in the morning, we checked over Acts 26 together, and then we both had a nap. We had been awake for a while during the night and were very sleepy. After nap, I made corrections in the Aposel (Acts) file for chapter 26 and added that Pidgin to the print file. Then got English 27 set up in the print file. We continue to thank the Lord for His help in this awesome and holy task. Then I had lunch. After lunch, I crocheted a little while. Then I started working on a lesson in John for Mike. “18For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory. 19And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles.” (Isaiah 66:18,19) If we don’t take the gospel to those who’ve never heard, the LORD will see to it that missionaries are sent to them. But will the blood of those who already passed into eternity be required at our hands? June 23. We were on the go this morning from the time we got up until about 10:00. Shower and dress first. Break up a multi-grain tortilla and spread it out on the deck railing after Mrs. cardinal came and sang for her breakfast. Fix eggs to go with Daddy’s pancakes. Sit down for some quiet time. Put a load of sheets and towels in the wash. Fix a small dish of veggies and meat for the first part of my breakfast. Sit down and eat and enjoy more quiet time. Take bedding out of dryer, fold, and put away in closet. In the mean time, Daddy started vacuuming the carpets. Put the sheets and towels into the dryer, and put a load of clothes into the washing machine. Fix a bowl of oatmeal for the rest of my breakfast. Sit down for a few more minutes of quiet time. Make up bed with clean sheets and pillow cases (with Daddy’s help). Crochet for a few minutes. Take clothes out of washing machine. Hang up shirts, blouses, and a couple other things, and put the rest of the clothes in the dryer. Start getting things ready to go to the girls’ house. Get clothes out of dryer. Finish getting things ready to go. Head over to the house with a stop at Rite-Aid to look for soap. Too expensive. Arrive at girls’ house somewhere around 10:30. Collapse. Girls went off to market and to do a little shopping. Daddy relaxed at the computer, and I relaxed the rest of the morning doing crocheting. Worked more on the crochet project this afternoon after nap. This evening I did the dishes, and then we all listened to this past Sunday’s early morning sermon. We left early and took the long way home as Daddy wanted to stop at Aldi and get some mayonnaise. The Lord gave us a beautiful sunset this evening. I jumped out of the van as soon as we got home and got my cameras out of my bilum (string bag) in the back so I could take some pictures.
