Here are some more journal notes from Mom. The latest I have are from back in February, but it is good to look back and see what the Lord has done. February 10. Another cool day, but no rain. Three of the students were sick today — Judy with a cold, Mike with his intestinal problem, and AnnaJean with her body weakness. They all did well in their lessons, however. Most of the afternoon I worked on tomorrow’s lesson plans. Also tried to fix a picture to be used in the coming newsletter, and made up a question sheet for a music lesson. This evening, I practiced keyboard; printed five more copies of Revelation, collated, and stapled them; printed more math lessons and a math test; and printed the next question sheet for a previous music lesson. “10) Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11) Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12) For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” (Ephesians 6:10-12) A needful reminder. February 11. A little rain in the wee hours of the morning. Cool again most of the day. Very busy this afternoon and evening getting lesson plans written for tomorrow, writing a couple e-mails, and doing a lot of printing, trying to make sure I have everything I need before Daddy goes to SIL and takes this computer with him. “9) And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment; 10) That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ; 11) Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.” (Philippians 1:9-11) A prayer to pray for fellow-believers.
