September 13. Spent most of the day fixing up the Revelation lessons by adding the answers back in the teacher’s copy. I had taken them out last school year and put blanks instead to make students’ lessons, not thinking that I may need to make other teachers’ copies for future teachers. So now I’ve kept one copy with blanks for students, and am fixing up the other copy with answers for teachers. Still have some fixing up to do and, Lord willing, will be able to finish that tomorrow. We just took a short walk this morning — walked down to see the new wind sock. I didn’t want to go too far as I had to make a meal. Started getting ingredients together for soup as soon as we got back, and the soup was ready about 12:15. Daddy still had enough spaghetti left for today, and I enjoyed a bowl of soup. Tomorrow I’ll puree the rest of the soup, and we can both enjoy soup for dinner. September 14. Judy did laundry and had computer class. Then Mike came with Lawrence and Orpah, and Nehemiah came too. Nehemiah was going to cut firewood, but he needed a helper. Mike said he would help him, but we don’t allow anyone to use the power saw when there are children around. So Nehemiah got the firewood ready for sawing, and then he helped Mike who was taking apart the cupboards in the entry way. I added the answers back in the teacher’s Revelation lessons and making sure all the answers were taken out of the students’ copy. Then I started making corrections in the music lessons and adding answers back in the teacher’s copy of that. After Judy left, Daddy and I did go for a walk part way up the airstrip. We probably could have gone all the way up, but we stopped and talked for a good while with Pastor Andru and some with Wenke. It was after we got back that Mike and Nehemiah came. Before dinner, I pureed the soup I had made yesterday, and we each enjoyed a bowlful for dinner. This evening, I printed two song books for Nehemiah to take to Pastor Okena and his wife. He is going to head out that way tomorrow morning, and is expecting Dallas to go with him. “14) Do all things without murmurings and disputings: 15) That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;” (Philippians 2:14-15 )
